OPCD is proud to announce the appointment of Josiah D. Morgan, MPA, SHRM-SCP as Director of Support Services for Orleans Parish Communication District. Prior to joining the OPCD team, Josiah gained nearly a decade of experience in operations management, financial management and human resources for various government agencies within the city of New Orleans, including the 34 Ways Foundation, the Civil Service Department and the New Orleans Police Department.
Josiah will lead initiatives for multiple branches of the OPCD organization, including financial operations, public engagement, facilities management and telecommunication carrier relations. He holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Society of Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional certification. Josiah will begin his tenure at OPCD on June 10, 2019.
