OPCD Celebrates The Successful Launch of 3-1-1 After Merger Is Complete

NEW ORLEANS – The Orleans Parish Communication District (OPCD) and the City of New Orleans collectively celebrate the successful consolidation of 3-1-1 services into the already existing emergency communications center.  Additionally, OPCD launched new functionality that allows citizens to submit 3-1-1 service requests online and receive subsequent notification as they request is managed.

“This is a true example of government being intentional in our efforts to provide the best access as possible. OPCD proudly took on this challenge and we are excited to be at this point, today ”, says OPCD Executive Director Tyrell Morris.
