OPCD is pleased to announce Executive Director Morris has appointed Juana Green as the Director of Operations effective Sunday, October 7th, 2018. Juana has 20 years of experience in public safety communications and holds a Master’s of Science in Emergency Services Management from Columbia Southern University. In additional to her commitment to OPCD and the efforts to consolidate, Juana has held public safety leadership positions at Dillard University and the Cypress-Fairbanks Fire Department.
Juana is an instructor and implementation specialist with the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) and a Health & Safety Instructor with Jeff Ellis & Associates. In her most recent role as the Manager of OPCD’s Training & Compliance Division, Juana was instrumental in getting our Telecommunicators to 100% certification compliance in Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), Emergency Police Dispatch (EPD) and Emergency Fire Dispatch (EFD).
Juana is native to New Orleans and lives in the Gentilly area with her husband Cornell.
