NEWS & UPDATES FROM OPCD

OPCD is the administrative and operational office of 9-1-1 operations for the City of New Orleans. This office was created by State Legislature in 1982.

Primary responsibilities include providing and maintaining the 911 Center, its equipment and technology, training of 9-1-1 personnel and call processing and dispatch of emergency calls for service to Police, Fire and EMS in the field. OPCD is proud to honor and highlight the achievements of these dedicated public servants who work continually to provide quality service to the citizens and visitors of New Orleans.
